Benefits of Fish Oil

Our Honest Assessment

Strong Research

The benefits of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), which are found in fish oil, have been supported by repeated double-blind clinical trials. In 2004, the FDA announced qualified health claims for omega-3 fatty acids, noting supportive but not conclusive research that shows that consuming EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Our Fish Oil includes 200mg of omega-3 fatty acids from EPA and DHA.

Helps maintain healthy joints

Omega-3 from fish oil has been shown to support the health of your joints. Clinical research has been performed to assess the impact of high-doses of omega-3 on the joints.

Helps maintain a healthy heart

Omega-3 from fish oil has been extensively researched for its beneficial effects on the heart. In fact, the American Heart Association recommends eating at least 2 servings of fish, particularly fatty fish per week. Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, herring, lake trout, sardines and albacore tuna are high in omega-3 fatty acids.

Our Fish Oil

From Alaska

Our fish oil is derived from wild Alaskan salmon harvested in sustainable fishing areas in the clean waters of the North Pacific. The pristine environment and short lifespan of salmon ensures they are naturally free of pollutants and heavy metals. This is in contrast to fish oil supplements created from anchovies and sardines.

Cold-pressed

Our fish oil is produced from a cold-press extraction method similar to the process used in producing olive oil. By avoiding the use of high heat, we are able to better preserve the naturally occurring nutrients to deliver all eight essential fatty acids, along with vitamins A, D and E. Our fish oil is made and tested in the United States.
