Supports joint comfort and flexibility in 7-10 days*

Our eggshell membrane has been shown in multiple human clinical studies to support healthy joints with wear and tear associated with exercise. In one human, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, and single-crossover study, a quick and prolonged improvement in comfort and flexibility with eggshell membrane was evaluated using the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). Flexibility scores at days 7 and 30 improved from baseline and were significantly lower in the eggshell membrane group compared to the placebo group while the comfort score also improved from baseline. All WOMAC-based indices were significantly lower in the eggshell membrane group compared to placebo.

In a single-center, open-label clinical study with 25 participants, researchers evaluated the safety and efficacy of eggshell membrane for joint comfort. Eggshell membrane subjects exhibited a positive response in comfort from baseline at both 10 days and 30 days. Similar results were reported in a smaller, prospective multicenter clinical study on knee and hip comfort, where physicians also rated 75% of the subjects having moderate to significant improvement from baseline after 60 days of eggshell membrane.

Supports healthy cartilage and connective tissue

Our eggshell membrane has been shown in multiple human clinical studies to help support joint flexibility and cartilage. In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel- group study on 60 post-menopausal women, exercise- induced cartilage turnover as well as exercise induced joint comfort and flexibility were evaluated. Cartilage turnover was evaluated using the biomarker c-terminal crosslinked telopeptide of type-II collagen (CTX-II). A significant decline in CTX-II showed strong treatment effects with eggshell membrane compared to placebo. The effect of exercise- induced cartilage turnover, joint comfort and flexibility was further studied in 85 healthy adults in another randomized, double blind and placebo controlled study. CTX-II changes again were measured and showed strong treatment effects with eggshell membrane compared to placebo, after both 1 and 2 weeks of exercise. Improved comfort with eggshell membrane was shown starting at day 1, continuing through day 11. Post exercise recovery comfort returned to resting levels for the intervention group by day 14, while levels remained high for the placebo group.
